In this position you will:
Lead small-group instruction to support 4th and 5th grade students in writing, math, and reading skills, as well as supervise students during their 30-minute lunch period at Roxhill Elementary (7740 34th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98126)
Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects
Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
Get paid $23/hour
Accrue paid sick leave
Schedule:
Start Date: December 2nd, 2024
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
8:00am to 1:00pm
25 hours a week
Schedule is fixed to meet school's needs
Follows Seattle Public Schools schedule for breaks and holidays
